SilverRail is currently in an expansion phase which gives you a unique opportunity to influence and develop Silverrails future bid process. We are now looking for a Bid Manager to join SilverRails Commercial Team in Stockholm.

The position

Your responsibility as Bid Manager is to ensure that the service requests raised by the customer are fully executed from start to a completed proposal. This involves coordinating the proposal process both internally and towards the customer. As Bid Manager you will monitor, qualify for procurements and create winning bids. You will work closely with a team of a very dedicated professionals with know-how about advanced technology solutions as well as deep expertise about the industry we work in.

Key responsibilities:

·       Together with Commercial and Product team you will craft outstanding value propositions and solutions to customer needs.

·       Actively participate in shaping win strategies and proposal storylines; facilitate work sessions and write executive summaries and proposal responses.

·       Own the proposal plan and lead the work, meeting both customer business cases and internal financial goals.

·       Act as direct contact to the client’s procurement manager, facilitating a smooth proposal process and ensuring that client expectations are met.

·       Manage review and approval processes.

If you value smooth commuting, you will also appreciate that our office is located right in the centre of Stockholm. From your desk you will reach T-Centralen or Stockholm City in just a few minutes. The role will report to Commercial Director.

Background and personal qualities

To succeed in this position, you will need experience within bid management as well as working with internal and external stakeholders along the sales process towards a successful business deal. Working with pricing and/or commercial agreements and a ability to produce client facing presentations is a plus. You have strong workshop facilitation and project management skills. We believe that your experience comes from the IT-industry or Management Consulting, preferably global companies and that you have good technical understanding.

University degree or equivalent in relevant areas such as economics or technology.

Your ability to think strategically about the mission, product and commercial pricing is crucial to succeed! Your assignments will include a lot of contact with both the customer as well as internal organization and stakeholders; we therefore see that you have excellent communication abilities in both English and Swedish and a customer centric “can-do” service attitude.

You can express yourself in a formal manner, as written communication is the central element to capture our customer’s requirements and presenting solutions. You are thorough, have a structured way of working, work well independently as well as interact and share a good and positive team spirit. You should have an interest in and a good ability to coordinate and lead the proposal process forward.
